Lockdown Extension in Maharashtra

New Delhi: A day after Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray clarified that restrictions will continue even after June 30 across the state, the Kalyan-Dombivli municipal corporation has announced complete shutdown in 33 of the total 160 containment zones. Notably, more than 3,300 cases have been reported from Kalyan and Dombivali so far. Following the shutdown only essential services will be allowed and other activities would remain restricted in these areas. According to the reports, essential services in these regions will be available from 9 AM to 5 PM. Besides, unnecessary travel will be prohibited for next 15 days.

Bengal Safari to open after taking Covid safety measures

The Bengal Safari, a state government-run wild animals park, in Darjeeling district and other tourist spots under the forest department will be opened after taking all precautionary measures to check the spread of coronavirus, a minister said on Sunday. “We don’t want a spike in coronavirus cases. The first of the 500 limited edition Ducati Superleggera V4 motorcycles, has been officially delivered to its new owner from Belgium, Filip Van Schil. Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali personally delivered model number 001/500 and the certificate of authenticity of the Superleggera V4 to Van Schil at the Ducati factory at Borgo Paniglae. Van Schil, who already owns nine other Ducati bikes, was invited to the Borgo Panigale factory for a special tour, in which he was able to see up close the line where his motorbike was built and meet the worker who built the engine.

Ghaziabad: A massive fire broke out at a chemical factory in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad this afternoon. Over 10 fire trucks have been rushed to the spot and efforts are on to control the fire.
