Gold contracts for August delivery rose by Rs 1 to Rs 1,00,330 per 10 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange, with 16,073 lots traded. Analysts said gold prices rose as participants created new deals. Globally, gold futures in New York fell 0.11 percent to $3,427.74 an ounce.
