A constable of the Tripura Police has been suspended from duty following serious allegations of bribery and misconduct. The constable, identified as Amir Khan Bhuiya, was posted in West Tripura district when the allegations surfaced, officials said on Sunday. According to an official statement issued by the Tripura Police, a criminal case has been registered against Constable Bhuiya and four other individuals.
