The price of zinc contract for July delivery on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose by Rs 1.10 or 0.44 per cent to Rs 253.60 per kg in a business turnover of 1,790 lots. Zinc prices rose in futures trade as participants increased their deal sizes following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries, market sources said.
