New Delhi: Silver prices rose by Rs 363 to Rs 97,838 per kg in May futures trade on Wednesday as participants increased their bets. At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the price of silver contracts for July delivery rose by Rs 363, or 0.37 percent, to Rs 97,838 per kg in a business turnover of 17,752 lots. Analysts said fresh deals by participants led to the rise in silver prices. Globally, silver was trading 0.28 percent lower at $33.16 per ounce in New York.

Aluminium futures prices increase on fresh deals

New Delhi, May 28: Aluminium prices rose by 15 paise to Rs 239.05 per kg in futures trade on Wednesday as speculators created fresh deals amid positive trend in the spot market. Aluminium contracts for June delivery rose by 15 paise, or 0.06 percent, to Rs 239.05 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange in which 4,378 lots were traded. Analysts said fresh deals by traders amid demand from consumer industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
