In April of this year, Arunachal Pradesh recorded its biggest monthly Goods and Services Tax (GST) collection ever, following the national trend of hit GST revenue records. The Tripura government has approved funds for a year-long scientific study of the rare Bostami turtles found in Kalyan Sagar Lake, located near the famous Mata Tripura Sundari Temple in Udaipur, Gomati District. The Mizoram government has announced that all private de-addiction and rehabilitation centres must now obtain accreditation to continue operating, in a bid to improve quality and ensure compliance with existing laws. Social Welfare Minister Lalrinpuii made the announcement on May 19, stating that stricter norms would be enforced under the Mizoram Drug (Controlled Substances) Act, 2016 and the Mizoram Drug Treatment cum Rehabilitation Centre Accreditation Rules, 2019. “Accreditation is now mandatory.
