Silver futures fell on reduced bets

New Delhi, May 26: Silver prices fell by Rs 57 to Rs 97,997 per kg on Monday as participants reduced bets. Silver contracts for July delivery on the Multi Commodity Exchange fell by Rs 57, or 0.06 percent, to Rs 97,997 per kg in a business turnover of 17,276 lots. Analysts said selling by participants at current levels in the market mainly influenced silver prices. Foreign futures markets remained closed on the occasion of Memorial Day in the US.

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Sunday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for leading the country to become the fourth largest economy suppressing Japan. "Modi Govt. is known for creating histories. This time along with making history it has also made the nation proud. India overtakes Japan to become 4th largest economy in the world. India becomes a $4 trillion economy," the chief minister wrote on Facebook. CCTV now compulsory in all private schools in Tripura

The move was disclosed in an affidavit submitted to the Tripura High Court on May 8 during a hearing on a PIL concerning school safety. New Delhi, May 24 Property prices rose in 48 out of 50 cities during the fourth quarter of 2024-25, according to data released by the National Housing Bank (NHB). Out of the 50 cities covered, two cities, Howrah and Thiruvananthapuram, recorded a decline in property prices, the latest NHB RESIDEX residential housing price index said.
