PM Modi will inaugurate India’s first underwater Metro facility during his visit to West Bengal's Kolkata on March 6, marking a major step forward for transportation in the city. The under-water tunnel is part of the Kolkata Metro extension project, that will connect Salt Lake to Howrah via Kolkata with a stretch below the Hooghly river.  This remarkable engineering feat features a 16.6 km tunnel under the Hooghly River. Tata Motors Limited (TML) has approved the demerger of its Commercial Vehicles and Passenger Vehicles businesses into two separate listed companies. The demerger will be implemented through an NCLT scheme of arrangement, with all shareholders maintaining their identical shareholding in both entities.  The demerger is a continuation of the subsidization of PV and EV businesses in 2022, allowing each business to pursue its strategies for higher growth and greater agility.
