A Tripura State Rifles (TSR) jawan, Anjan Das, has been apprehended for attempting to smuggle packets of Biri into the Tripura Central Correctional Home in Bishalgarh, Sepahijala district. The incident occurred on Wednesday and has since gone viral, triggering a major internal investigation. Das was caught in the act of transporting the Biri packets, allegedly for the purpose of earning extra money by supplying them to inmates.
