Kashiho bats for eco-tourism: Nagaland

Minister of Soil and Water Conservation, Geology and Mining, V. Kashiho Sangtam has batted for promotion of eco-tourism in the state in order to generate employment avenues through tourism industry.  According to a press release by chairman of Hausum Khel, Poilwa, Namkwa Diswang, the minister made this appeal while inaugurating the Hausum Khel Resort, Poilwa on February 27 in the presence of advisor, Tourism, Art & Culture, Khehovi Yepthomi.  The monolith of the resort was dedicated by pastor Hindi Baptist Church, Dimapur, Rev. 4-hr shutdown in Moreh to protest against blast

A 24-hour total shutdown imposed by civil societies in protest against the blast hit normal life in Moreh, Manipur on Sunday. A hand grenade suspected to have been lobbed by militants rocked the border town on Saturday night. There was no report of casualty, however, window panes of a resort was damaged by the impact of the blast.
