No new COVID case in East Khasi Hills

Ever since the onset of the pandemic, the East Khasi Hills, which has been the most affected district in Meghalaya, reported no new COVID-19 case on the last day January. Director Health Services (MI), Dr. Aman War said that the three new COVID-19 cases were detected in the State today, which included one each from the West Khasi Hills district, Ri-Bhoi district and West Jaintia Hills district. “All the nine recoveries from Covid-19 recorded today were also in the East Khasi Hills district,” he added.
