RNAIPL conserves 50,000 liters of water daily

Renault Nissan Automotive India Private Limited (RNAIPL) plant in Oragadam, Chennai, is now conserving a daily 50,000 litres (50 kilolitres) of water from its sewage treatment plant by using a decanter facility recently installed on its premises. The facility, which separates water from sewage waste, is mitigating water wastage and reducing water demand for RNAIPL’s industrial operations. The 50 kilolitres conserved are in addition to water savings from RNAIPL’s many water sustainability initiatives implemented at the plant. MSDE and MHI sign MoU to boost the capital goods sector

West Bengal recorded 1,822 new COVID-19 fresh Covid cases on Sunday, recording a positivity rate of 14.10 %, as per the state Health Department. 3 more COVID-19 sufferers died, taking the toll to 21,225. The state currently has 10,583 active cases. 304 of these patients had to be admitted to the hospital. The new cases were called after 12,921 samples were tested. The country has so far reported 20,34,485 cases of COVID-19. A total of 20,02,677 patients have recovered, including 526 in the remaining 24 hours.
