Mann condemns attack in Kabul

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has condemned the attack on a Gurdwara in Kabul and urged the Center to provide immediate assistance to ensure the safety of minorities in the Afghan capital. Mann twitted, “Strongly condemn the attack at Gurudwara Karte Parwan in Kabul. Have heard reports of shots being fired at devotees, I’m praying for everyone’s safety. I urge PM @narendramodi ji and @MEAIndia for immediate assistance to ensure the safety of minorities in Kabul”. According to the report, there have been several attacks in the capital of Afghanistan for the past few days.

Delhi court cancels Satyendra Jain’s bail

A Delhi court has rejected the bail plea of Delhi minister Satyendra Jain, who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case. Special judge Gitanjali Goel rejected Jain's relief, saying the forum was not fit to grant him bail. After hearing the arguments of Jain and ED, the court reserved the order. Jain was arrested by the ED in a money laundering case. He was taken into custody under the criminal provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
