Five additional judges have been appointed

Five additional judges were appointed in three high courts on Saturday. The Law Ministry's Judicial Department has issued a notification. Three judicial officers have been appointed as Additional Judges in Calcutta High Court, one Advocate each in Chhattisgarh and Kerala High Courts as Additional Judges. And nine advocates were appointed as judges of the Delhi High Court.

Three cops injured in Dhar attack

A police team was attacked and a rifle seized from them while searching for a missing woman in a village in Madhya Pradesh's Dhar district, an official said. The accused Suga tribal and his family members attacked the police team while leaving the village and snatched a rifle from them, he said. At least six accused have been identified. Head constables Prakash Bhawar and Mahendra Rajput and assistant sub-inspector Manish Bhagore were reportedly injured in the attack.

Two people were arrested for marrying a minor in Rajasthan's Bhilwara on Saturday. The SP of Vilara said that the minor son of Kishan Lal, a resident of Sadapur village, and the daughter of Prabhu Lal Balai, a resident of Jasu Ji Ka Kheda, were married on May 11 in Jahazpur area. From the report, Kishan Lal (33) and Prabhu Lal Balai (40) have been arrested.
