Delhi govt to provide free vaccine to all eligible beneficiaries

The Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Delhi on Thursday announced that precautionary doses for the anti-COVID-19 vaccine will be provided free of cost to all eligible beneficiaries aged 18 to 59 years at government vaccination centers. In a statement, the Delhi government said necessary changes have been made to the CoWIN portal for Delhi where both online and walk-in appointments will be available. It also said the provision of precautionary doses given at private vaccination centers will continue.

Another militant was killed in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district on Friday, police said, taking the toll to four in an operation that lasted more than 24 hours.
