Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying his federalism was "coercive, not cooperative". His comments came a day after Modi flagged high fuel prices in many opposition-ruled states and called for a reduction in VAT "in the national interest" to benefit the common man and work in the spirit of cooperative federalism during this global crisis. “High Fuel prices – blame states.
