The Mizoram government has announced plans to build a ropeway at Vantawng Falls in Serchhip district to improve tourism facilities and support the local economy.An official said the project will come up near Thenzawl town, where the state’s highest waterfall is located. The ropeway will allow visitors to view the falls from above, giving a wider and clearer view of the natural site. The project will be funded under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) scheme.
