UGC decides to conduct Final Year university exam by September end.

Final Year university examinations may be postponed until the end of September, but must be conducted in either online or offline mode, the University Grants Commission (UGC) decided on Monday evening. Students who are unable to appear for these examinations will be given the opportunity to appear for special examinations which will be conducted later, according to an official statement. More than a third of the world's countries say they are at risk of running out of life-saving AIDS drugs because of disruptions to supply lines and other problems caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the World Health Organization said on Monday. Maharashtra adds 5,368 new COVID-19 cases

Maharashtra's COVID-19 tally rose to 2,11,987 on Monday with the state adding 5,368 new cases, while more than 200 patients succumbed to the infection. A total of 3,522 patients were discharged from hospitals, taking the number of recovered persons to 1,15,262, the department said. There are 87,681 active cases in the state at present, it added. One Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan sustained injuries when suspected militants detonated a low-intensity improvised explosive device ( IED) in south Kashmir's Pulwama on Sunday morning.
