Maharashtra Coronavirus Cases Cross 2 Lakh-Mark

Maharashtra’s Covid-19 tally now stands at 2,00,064 while the death toll went up to 8,671 with 295 casualties. The state has the highest number of COVID-19 cases in India, followed by Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Gujarat. A total of 3,396 people were declared recovered on Saturday taking the total recoveries to 1,08,082 while the number of active cases is 83,311. Maharashtra:Heavy rains to persist in Mumbai, coastal Maharashtra on Saturday, says IMD.

Heavy rains will continue to lash Mumbai and the coastal districts of Maharashtra for the second consecutive day on Saturday, an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. The IMD had issued a red alert late on Friday for Mumbai, Raigad and Ratnagiri. It had predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall on Saturday in many places in Palghar, Mumbai, Thane and Raigad districts. In June, Google removed over 50 apps from its Play Store, after discovering they contained a malicious adware which could leave Android devices unusable. A cyber security firm has now revealed a further 25 malicious apps which have been banned by Google, and is advising Android users to remove them from their devices. The apps allow hackers to target Facebook users and steal their personal details. In total the 25 malicious apps have been installed over 2.3 million times. At least 113 people were killed Thursday in a landslide at a jade mine in northern Myanmar, the government and rescue workers said, the latest in a series of deadly accidents at the sites in recent years.
