India's premier medical research agency the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) wants to launch its COVID-19 vaccine 'Covaxin' by August 15 in partnership with Bharat Biotech International Limited. The institutes have been asked by the ICMR to step up clinical trials as it is a "priority project" monitored at the topmost level of the government. New Delhi: An earthquake of magnitude 4.5 on Richter Scale struck parts of Delhi and the National Capital Region on Friday evening, said the National Center for Seismology. No damage or any kind of injury has been reported so far. 7 Kolkata policemen test positive

At least seven sleuths of the Kolkata Police detective department have tested positive for Covid-19, sources at the state health department said on Thursday. Test reports of the seven policemen, who had complained of fever last week, confirmed that they have contracted the disease, a senior officer at the department said.
