Tripura has set an ambitious target of adding 11 megawatts (MW) of solar power generation capacity during the 2026-27 financial year as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen renewable energy infrastructure and reduce dependence on conventional sources of electricity.The initiative is being spearheaded by the Tripura Renewable Energy Development Agency (TREDA), which is working to expand the use of solar energy across government institutions and remote parts of the state.
