India reported 2,183 new coronavirus infections taking the total number of COVID-19 cases to 4,30,44,280, while active cases fell to 11,542, according to Union Health Ministry data updated on Monday. A reduction of 16 cases was recorded in the active COVID-19 caseload within 24 hours. The daily positivity rate was recorded as 0.83 percent and the weekly positivity rate was 0.32 percent, according to the ministry.
