Delhi likely to witness heat wave

The India Meteorological Department on Monday said the national capital may experience heatwave conditions during the day, with the maximum temperature settling around 42 degrees Celsius. "Heat wave conditions are very likely to prevail in isolated pockets over Punjab, Haryana-Delhi, South Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Odisha and Jharkhand on 18-19," the IMD said in a bulletin.
