The Zoram Medical College and Hospital (ZMCH) will soon offer tissue transplantation services, marking a major milestone in Mizoram's public healthcare sector, Health Minister Lalrinpuii announced on Thursday. Speaking at a party meeting in Lunglei, the minister said arrangements are being made with the National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation (NOTTO). A transplant coordinator, consultant, and supporting staff are being appointed, and an operation theatre has been set up at ZMCH.
