The Tripura government on Monday presented a deficit budget of ₹34,212.31 crore for the financial year 2026–27 in the state Assembly, with Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy announcing that no new taxes would be imposed on the people.While presenting the budget, Singha Roy said the total outlay for the coming financial year stands at ₹34,212.31 crore, with an estimated deficit of ₹240 crore.
